Fly Baby ? Yes!

Why Fly Baby?

In 1958 while Peter Bowers was an engineer for Boeing he was simultaneously involved in homebuilding and EAA. The Fly Baby resulted from a design contest sponsored by EAA. A simple approach to homebuilding was the design criteria. A design which a novice could take on and be successful in producing his/her own airplane without breaking the bank and by using the basic tools found in most any home repair arsenal. A small garage or workshop was definitely helpful but not absolutely required (any of us enjoy a dedicated space for long term projects). The simplicity of the design has attracted many a homebuilder and has proven successful throughout the years as an accommodating single seat airplane for the sport flyer as well as the occasional cross country stent.
