After a Long and winding road, I’ve finally arrived at the very house on the Hill where my little one and a half year old feet once trod.

Life has brought me full circle, back to my childhood home in the Sandhill community only a stone's throw from the city of Gilmer, Tx. Now, at age 53, I find myself wondering why it has taken so long to return? Other opportunities have I passed up to set up shop here on the family homestead without considering the positive aspects of building upon what my great granddaddy began over one hundred years ago. Although I've not been very far away, only twenty miles or so, except for travels across the country to retrieve items I have purchased, the short distance coupled with life's greater challenges has seemed like a world of separation.
