Coffee and Nuts

Ground or Whole Bean

Whichever you prefer, fresh is best! Take time to ensure your supply is relatively fresh with a good aroma and fine taste. Stale coffee is like a bitter nut, blah. Every morning, for myself, begins with fresh ground coffee and a handful of mixed nuts. These days I brew one cup at a time by pouring hot water over the fresh ground coffee using the fancy little Rhost stainless steel dripper or if my desire is for an express cup then I use the old kitchen strainer with a coffee filter tucked down inside. Either way the end result is a fresh cup of coffee and a better start to the day. When the nuts seem to dry then I add a few raisins and this combination provides a great beginning to a fruitful morning. Love that coffee…
